GENERAL: Randolph will be looking to hold the starting role at left corner which he earned during the 2009 season.
2009: Randolph saw action in all 12 contests, making 10 starting appearances at left cornerback. For the year, he logged 35 tackles (15 solo, 20 assisted). He also assisted on a tackle-for-loss. He also bagged two interceptions, broke up six pass attempts and recovered a fumble. He twice logged seven-tackle outings (against Eastern New Mexico and at Tarleton State) and had a five tackle performance against Nebraska-Omaha. Randolph recorded an interception and a fumble recovery against Central Oklahoma.
2008: Randolph saw action in all 13 contests. During that time, he registered 24 tackles (13 solo, 11 assisted), while also breaking up three passes, forcing two QB hurries, intercepting one pass and forcing a fumble. He enjoyed a season-high five-tackle outing (four solo, one assisted) at Texas A&M-Kingsville to go along with a forced fumble. He logged a four-stop night (three solo, one assist) against Northeastern State, while breaking up two passes against Midwestern State. This past spring, Randolph enjoyed an active Maroon-White game, as he registered four tackles and two PBU’s.
2007: Redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Randolph led Crosby (Texas) HS to a 7-4 mark and a playoff appearance in 2006. During that season, he tallied four interceptions and returned four kicks for TDs. He earned both first and second team all-District 21-4A honors during his four seasons. Randolph also received a Wendy’s High School Heisman nomination. He lettered in track & field for four years and powerlifting for one season. For his efforts in the classroom, Randolph was named Academic all-District 21-4A.
MAJOR: Randolph is an Environmental Sciences major at WTAMU.
