GENERAL: Having been sidelined last season with an injury, Peoples has the value of bringing his two years of experience to the defensive line.
2009: Peoples suffered a pre-season knee injury, forcing him to miss the entire season.
2008: Peoples saw action in 10 games, logging nine tackles (four solo, five assisted). He enjoyed a career-high six tackle outing against Azusa Pacific (one solo, five assists), as well as logging one TFL for minus-one yard. He also posted two solo stops against Northeastern State and a single solo takedown at Central Oklahoma.
2007: Peoples saw action in nine contests, registering 18 tackles (four solo, 14 assisted). Additionally, he had two tackles for minus-11 yards in losses, one-half QB sack for minus-five yards and one pass breakup.
2006: Redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior at Diana (Texas) HS, Peoples was selected as first team all-District at both linebacker and running back in 2005, following first team all-District and all-East Texas honorable mention accolades in 2005. He gained honorable mention Academic all-State honors in 2005, as well. He also participated in baseball, power lifting and track & field.
MAJOR: Peoples is a Sports & Exercise Sciences major at WTAMU.
