2024 Outdoor: Competed at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the Shot Put with a throw of 17.09m. Also competed in the Lone Star Track and Field Championships in the Shot Put (16.94m; 1st place), in the Discus Throw (49.47m; 3rd place), and earned a new personal best in the Hammer Throw (53.43m; 3rd place). At the Buffalo Invitational…placed 1st in the Shot Put (16.93m), placed 3rd in the Discus Throw (46.89m), and placed 2nd in the Hammer Throw (51.13m). At the Wt Spring Break Open… placed 1st in the Shot Put (17.43m), placed 3rd in the Discus Throw (46.10m), and placed 2nd in the Hammer Throw (53.38m). Earned All-Region and First-Team All-Conference honors for the 2024 outdoor season.

2024 Indoor: Competed at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in the Shot Put with a distance of 17.01m, earning 13th place. Also competed at the Lone Star Indoor Track and Field Championships in the Shot Put with a distance of 17.84m, finishing in 1st place and in the Weight Throw with a distance of 17.25m, a 3rd place finish. Earned a personal record for Shot Put at the Jarvis Scott Open for a 3rd Place finish of 17.87m. Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors

2023 Outdoor: Finished 18th at the NCAA D2 Championships in the Shot Put with a personal best throw of 53’11.25 (16.44m). Finished 5th in the Hammer Throw with a personal best throw of 173’0” (52.73m) at the LSC Championships. Earned a 1st place finish at the Ross Black Open in the Shot Put with a throw of 55’4.75” (16.88m) and in the Discus with a personal best throw of 164’0” (49.99m).

2023 Indoor: Competed in the NCAA D2 Championships earning a 13th place finish in the Shot Put with a throw of 55’1.5” (16.80m). Recorded a personal best in the Weight Throw with 58’11.25” (17.96m) earning a 4th place finish at the LSC Championships. Also earned a 1st place finish in the Shot Put at the LSC Championships with a throw of 56’1.25” (17.10m).

2022 Outdoor: Finished 1st in the shot put at the Ross Black Track and Field Open with a season best throw of 54’4.5” (16.57m). Finished 4th in the Discus Throw with a personal best throw of 159’1” (48.49m) at the LSC Championship.

2022 Indoor: Finished 1st in the shot put with a season best toss of 54’10” (16.71m) at the Jarvis Scott Open. Finished 9th in the weight throw at the New Mexico Team Open. Had a season best throw of 51’4.25” (15.65m) in the weight throw at the Texas Tech Shootout finishing 10th. 

Floydada High School: Graduated in 2021. Went undefeated in the shot put as a senior winning the district, area, regional and state title. Won the state title with a personal best throw of 57-2.5 on his last attempt. Also finished fourth in the discus. Also lead Texas 2A baseball in home runs with 10. National Honor Society President. 

Personal: Born on December 12, 2002. Son of Denise and Rex Holcombe. Plans on majoring in biology at WT.
