2021: Saw time in seven games for the Buffs in 2021, finishing the season with 44 total tackles (24 solo, 20 assisted) with 3.5 of those coming for a loss to go along with two hurries and a forced fumble. Registered a season-high 12 tackles against Midwestern State to go along with a forced fumble.

2020: Started in all six games for the Buffs. Recorded a team-high 50 tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss, .5 sack, two QB hurries and a pass breakup. He recorded a season-high 13 tackles at Angelo State on Sept. 26. Also had nine tackles in the season finale against Pittsburg State.

2019: Appeared in 11 games recording 45 tackles (14 solo, 31 assisted) with 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack and two QB hurries. Recorded a season-high 11 tackles (3 solo, 8 assisted) and 1.5 tackles for loss against Tarleton. Had a season-high 2.5 tackles for loss in the inaugural game at Buffalo Stadium against Azusa Pacific. Recorded his lone sack of the season against Angelo State. 

2018: Started in all 11 games recording a team-high 104 tackles (46 solo, 58 assisted), 8.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and a force fumble. Become the first true freshman since Carter James in 2014 to record more than 100 tackles in a season. Was also the only true freshman to rank in the Top-50 nationally in total tackles. Had 10 or more tackles in seven games including a season-high 14 in WT’s win over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Sept. 8. Recorded 2.5 tackles for loss against Angelo State while recording a sack against nationally-ranked Central Washington. Forced a fumble in the Wagon Wheel Game against Eastern New Mexico.

Atascocita High School: Was an all-district performer for head coach Craig Stamp. As a senior, he earned 1^st Team All-District recognition from his outside linebacker position.
 
Personal: Born on May 14, 1999. Son of Lenard and Dana Thomas. Has two siblings. Plans on majoring in nursing at WT.
