CANYON, TEXAS – The Lone Star Conference announced 2,794 individuals earning Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition for the Spring 2026 semester, including 921 who posted a perfect 4.00 grade-point average for the academic term.
The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and the spring semesters with student-athlete qualification based on the grade point average for the specified semester. To be eligible for the recognition, students must have a minimum 3.30 grade-point average for the semester and be on the institution's sport roster or assist with the athletic training, athletic performance or sports information staffs. Qualifying students for the spring 2026 semester are submitted by their LSC institution.
UT Tyler posted the highest number of student-athletes on the Spring 2026 Commissioner's Honor Roll with 211 honorees, including 98 students with 4.0 semester grade-point averages. Lubbock Christian was second with 193 honorees followed by Texas A&M-Kingsville (191). West Texas A&M (188) and Oklahoma Christian (181) complete the top five institutions on the spring Commissioner's Honor Roll listing.
