CANYON, TEXAS – West Texas A&M Athletics has been named a finalist for Marketing Team of the Year by the
National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators, highlighting another milestone year for the department's continued growth and national recognition in collegiate athletics marketing.
After earning its first five NACMA awards in 2025, WT Athletics is now in the running for one of the organization's top honors in only its second-year competing. The recognition places West Texas A&M among athletic departments with long-established histories in collegiate marketing and fan engagement.
The Marketing Team of the Year award recognizes excellence in creativity, branding, fan experience, promotions, digital engagement, and overall impact within collegiate athletics. Over the past year, WT Athletics has continued to elevate its game day atmosphere, strengthen its connection with fans and the community, and build a nationally recognized brand across multiple platforms.
The finalist selection adds to a historic year for WT Athletics, which has celebrated championship success, record-breaking performances, and continued momentum across its athletic programs while expanding the reach and visibility of the department.
The winner will be announced June 8 at the NACDA Convention.
