CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Buffaloes ran their win streak to six games on Sunday afternoon as they connected on four homeruns to finish off a Lone Star Conference sweep of the Cameron Aggies at Wilder Park in Canyon, Texas.

The scoring began in the first inning with Cameron taking an early lead as Solomon singled up the middle, driving in two runs. However, the Buffs responded swiftly.
Luis Reyes doubled to left center, clearing the bases and bringing home three runs, followed by
Zac Rackham and
Tristin Thomas each adding an RBI single to cap a five-run inning. The score stood at 5-2 in favor of the Buffs after one inning.

The offensive surge continued in the second inning for the Buffs.
Jake Alwine and
Jacob Police set the stage for
Timothy Haynes, who delivered a three-run homer to left field. Reyes and
Will Franklin each followed with solo home runs, extending the lead further.
Brock Bunker added an RBI single, concluding a six-run inning that widened the gap to 11-2 through two innings.

In the fifth inning, the Buffs capitalized on Cameron's defensive errors. Haynes singled up the middle to bring in another run, and after a series of plays, Thomas hit a three-run homer to center field, extending the lead. The home team ended the inning with a 17-2 advantage.

Cameron attempted to rally in the sixth inning, scoring three runs with a two-RBI triple by Solomon and an RBI groundout, but their efforts were insufficient. The Buffs maintained control with strong defensive plays, closing the game with a 17-5 triumph.

Shea Lake picked up the win (2-0) for the Buffs, allowing no runs on no hits with three walks and three strikeouts in his 3.0 innings of relief.

The Buffs hit the road next weekend for a four-game Lone Star Conference series in Odessa, Texas against the UT Permian Basin Falcons starting on Friday afternoon at Roden Field.
