CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs continue their spring schedule on Monday and Tuesday as they travel to Spring, Texas for The Southern Invite hosted by Central Oklahoma at Cypresswood Golf Club.
 
The 15-team field features: Dallas Baptist, Arkansas-Fort Smith, Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma Baptist, Rogers State, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Central Missouri, Midwestern State, St. Mary's, West Texas A&M, Southern Arkansas, Missouri-St. Louis, Henderson State, UT Tyler and Pittsburg State.
 
The Lady Buffs are coming off an 11^th place finish at the Texas State Invitational back on February 2-3 in New Braunfels. Mia Hammerschmid led the Lady Buffs, tying for 19th place with a total score of 223 (+7). She displayed consistency across the rounds, opening with a 74 (+2), following with a 76 (+4), and concluding with a 73 (+1).
 
Located just north of Bush Intercontinental Airport on Cypresswood Drive, Cypresswood Golf Club has played host to numerous amateur and professional events including 2nd Stage of PGA Tour School, the Southern Texas PGA Eastern Championship, the Shell Houston Open Qualifier and several Futures Tour Events.
