FRISCO, TEXAS – West Texas A&M Women's Golf Head Coach Meredith Jameson was named to the Jackie Steinmann Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) National Coach of the Year watchlist as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon. Jameson is one of 19 coaches highlighted on the watchlist.

These watchlists recognize the outstanding performances and achievements of Division II coaches and student-athletes during the fall collegiate golf season. The fall watchlists highlight excellence throughout the year and recognize those who have made an early impact on their teams and across the collegiate landscape. The WGCA will continue to recognize standout performances throughout the upcoming spring season.

During the fall season, Jameson and the Lady Buffs tallied three top three finishes coming from the WinStar Invitational, West Texas A&M Invite, and Midwestern State Invitational. WT would also finish eighth in the NCAA National Preview as they closed the fall season ranked No. 13. Jameson was also presented AWN Lifetime Achievement Award back in September.
