CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M men's basketball alumni Ryland Holt is continuing his career ERA Basketball Nymburk in Nymburk, Czech Republic. Holt started his career with the Nitra Blue Wings in Nitra, Slovakia.

The former Buffalo is in his first season in Europe and was quickly named team captain for the Blue Wings in the Czechoslovak Cup. In the 28 games he played for Nitra in the Slovak league, he averaged 9.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals and a block per game. Holt has reached double-digit scoring in 12 games with a career-high 25 on Feb. 19. Holt joins Nymburk with the club atop the National Basketball League in the Czech Republic and the Champions League starting soon.
