Justin Bane Named West Texas A&M’s Offensive Coordinator

CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M head football coach Josh Lynn has announced the addition of Justin Bane to the coaching staff as the Buffs' Offensive Coordinator for the 2025 campaign.

Coach Bane is an innovative play-caller that has established himself as one of the top offensive minds in the country at any level" said Lynn "Justin has a reputation for developing players and we are extremely grateful to have him on our staff."
 
Bane comes to Canyon following two seasons at Central Missouri where the Mules became one of the top offenses in Division II Football. UCM quarterback Zach Zebrowski was a two-time winner of the Harlon Hill Trophy, throwing for 9,881 yards and 101 touchdowns over two seasons with 789 pass completions and 11,013 yards of total offense.
 
The Mules went 9-3 overall in 2024, averaging 526.1 yards and 39.1 points per game as they made an appearance in the Heritage Bowl. UCM produced a national-best 351 total first downs with 206 of them coming thru the air, leading the country with 394.6 passing yards per game with 40 touchdowns. UCM ranked second in total offense (526.1), 10th in scoring offense (39.1) and 16th in passing efficiency (157.58).
 
2023 saw Central Missouri lead all of NCAA Division II football in total offense (598.3/game), scoring offense (49.4/game), passing offense (417.9/game) and first downs (398) as the Mules advanced to the second round of the Division II Playoffs. 
 
Bane was named the FootballScoop Coordinator of the Year in 2023 as the Mules topped 40 points on 10 different occasion and bested the 50-point barrier for times. Zebrowski threw for 5.157 yards and 61 touchdowns, completing 69.3% of his passes to claim First Team All-American honors along with the program's second Harlon Hill Award.
