Lady Buff Golf Welcomes Ryan Purcyznski for 2026

CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M women's golf head coach Meredith Jameson has announced the addition of Ryan Purcyznski to the Lady Buff roster for the spring season.

"I recruited Ryan while she was in high school and believed she will be a great collegiate player due to her tenacity and grit" said Jameson "She embodies our team motto of "Lady Buff Tough" and will add depth to our talented team. The team and I are excited to have Ryan join us in January."

Purcyznski joins the Lady Buffs following a semester at Lone Star Conference rival Dallas Baptist. The Argyle, Texas native saw time in one event for the Patriots this fall, carding rounds of 72 and 75 during the DBU Classic at Oakmont Country Club to finish tied for 25th overall.

The Argyle High School product was a multi-year letterwinner for the Eagles, becoming the first freshman in AHS history to qualify for and win the Texas Class 4A State Championship.

The Lady Buffs return to the course on February 2-3 as they make their way to New Braunfels, Texas to take part in the Texas State Invitational at Landa Park Golf Club.
