CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M University is proud to host the 2025 Credit Union 1 NJCAA Division I Football Championship Presented by Zurich American Insurance Company on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium on the WT campus. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. CT 

This national championship game will bring the top junior college football programs together for a thrilling title matchup in Canyon. The finalists were determined via the NJCAA semifinal playoff games and represent the best of the NJCAA Division I football season.

Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium has been selected as the championship venue under a multi-year agreement running through 2027, reflecting the NJCAA's confidence in WTAMU and the Amarillo/Canyon region as a premier host site.  This event not only highlights elite junior college athletics but also brings an economic boost to the local community with fans and families traveling to the Panhandle for this marquee matchup.
