CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M sit second in the first numerical ranking of the 2025 NCAA Division II volleyball postseason announced on Wednesday afternoon on NCAA.com.

MSU Denver sits atop of the South Central Regional rankings followed by West Texas A&M, UCCS, Colorado School of Mines, Angelo State, CSU Pueblo, Lubbock Christian, Texas Woman's, Colorado Mesa and Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Last week's initial regional rankings list teams alphabetically with numerical rankings following on November 12
th and November 19
th. The 2024 Division II national tournament bracket is announced Nov. 24 via NCAA.com online selection show at 6:30 p.m. CT.

Winners of the Lone Star Conference and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournaments receive their league's automatic bid into the NCAA Postseason with the final six spots in the region being determined by the NCAA Selection Committee. Postseason play begins with Regionals on December 4-6 at campus sites and concludes in Sioux City, South Dakota for the NCAA Division II Elite Eight on December 11-13.

The Lady Buffs close out their regular season schedule on the road this weekend as they travel to Cameron and Oklahoma Christian.
