CANYON, Texas – The #3 Lady Buffs finished off the BritKare Lady Buff Classic in style on Saturday afternoon as they rolled past West Virginia State in straight sets (25-20, 25-10, 25-13) in front of over 700 fans at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon.

The Lady Buffs finished the match with 37 kills on 78 swings with just eight attack errors to hit .372 as a team to go along with 32 assists, five aces, 29 digs and 12 blocks. West Virginia State registered 25 kills on 87 swings with 22 attack errors to hit just .034 in the match with 22 assists, one ace, 21 digs and one block.

Angelina Oliver led the way for the Lady Buffs as the senior finished the afternoon with nine kills on 16 swings with no errors to hit .562 with one service ace and six blocks.
Emma Becker chipped in eight kills and seven digs while
Blair Moreland paced the WT offense with 15 assists,
Bryli Contreras led the way on the back row as the Canyon product registered nine digs.

Baby Moleni registered seven kills on 23 attempts with six attack errors to hit .043 in the match to lead the Yellow Jackets followed by Maureen Mathews with six kills, Kiersten Eggleton led WVSU with 12 assists in the match while Milla Smith had a match-high 10 digs in the back row.
