CANYON, Texas – The No. 5 West Texas A&M Lady Buffs extend their winning streak to fourteen after sweeping the Western New Mexico Mustangs (25-12, 25-11, 25-19) in The Box for Senior Night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lady Buffs took an early lead in all three sets and maintained throughout the match. Eight Lady Buffs hit .500 or better on the match as all twenty players were able to make an appearance.
Emma Becker and
Kelsey Carpenter each had five kills a piece on ten attempts with zero errors. The Lady Buffs hit .346 as a team and combined for a leading 33 digs.
The Lady Buffs out blocked the Mustangs nine to two with nine players getting at least one block on the board. The Lady Buffs balanced offense and defense helped push them to a sweep over the Mustangs.

Torrey Miller led offensively with 7 kills on 13 attempts to hit .385.
Ainsley Malis led the offense with 17 assists while
