No. 13 Lady Buffs Roll Over Angelo State in Three-Straight

SAN ANGELO, Texas – For the first time since 2014, West Texas A&M defeated Angelo State at the Junell Center as the No. 13 Lady Buffs swept the Belles (25-15, 25-20, 25-16) on Thursday night to open the Lone Star Conference Crossover. WT also broke a 12-year streak as Thursday's match marks the first time the Lady Buffs swept the Belles in San Angelo since Nov. 6, 2010.

By the Numbers
In the victory, the Lady Buffs tallied 36 kills on 121 attempts with 14 errors to hit .182 to go along with 33 assists, 64 digs, 11 blocks, and two service aces.  WT's defense limited the Belles to hit just .038 with 31 kills on 133 attempts with 26 errors.  ASU totaled 60 digs, 29 assists, four blocks with nine service errors. 
 
Torrey Miller registered her 38th career double-double as the LSC Offensive Player of the Week recorded a match-high 10 kills and a season-high 14 digs with four blocks. Sophomore Ainsley Malis paced the offense with 17 assists followed by Blair Moreland with 11. Emma Patterson led the back row with 23 digs while the Defensive Player of the Week Taytum Stow had seven blocks on the night including one solo and four kills.  
 
Sam Rogers had seven kills for the Belles on 24 total swings with five errors to hit .083 while Laney Dale had 15 assists.  Caleigh Enax grabbed 15 digs in the loss with Grace White registering three of ASU's four blocks.
