CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M claimed its sixth straight victory as the No. 15 Lady Buffs swept UT Permian Basin on Saturday afternoon.

The Numbers
WT hit .351 on Saturday with 46 kills on 97 swings and 12 errors while totaling 41 assists, 46 digs, five blocks, and four aces.  UTPB to hit .162 with 33 kills on 105 attempts with 16 errors to go along with 30 assists, 33 digs, and four blocks.
 
Two Lady Buffs reached double-figure kills led by Torrey Miller with a match-high 11 kills on 24 swings with three errors to hit .458 while Kayla Elliott hit a season-high .625 with 10 kills.  Blair Moreland and Ainsley Malis paced the offense combining for 35 assists while Emma Patterson had nine digs and Miller and Katrina Johnson each had two blocks. 
 
Taurie Magee and Aquincia Strambler each had eight kills in the match while Devin Alcoser guided the Falcons with 15 assists. Daylee Doggett had eight digs to lead the back row while Strambler had a match-high three blocks.

WT will head to Wichita Falls to take on Midwestern State (Oct. 7) before facing Texas Woman's (Oct. 8) in Denton.  Following the road trip out East, the Lady Buffs will have a midweek non-conference matchup with Southwestern Oklahoma State on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
