OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The No. 3 West Texas A&M Buffs recorded their first Lone Star Conference victory after defeating Oklahoma Christian 91-56 on Sunday afternoon at the Payne Athletic Center.  WT is now 14-2 overall while the Eagles drop to 4-8 with both programs sitting at 1-1 in conference play.

Five Buffs reached double figures led by Zach Toussaint, Addison Wallace, and Kavon Booker with each posting 14 points with Booker bringing down a game-high eight rebounds.  Larry Wise and Jesse Iweze each had 10 points.

The Eagles led off scoring in the opening half until Kavon Booker's layup ignited 15-2 run for the Buffs take a 17-7 lead.  Addison Wallace completed a pass from Julius Brown to push WT's lead out to 18.

With seven minutes left of the half, Dalin Williams registered his 17th block of the season after denying Nyx Madison's shot to preserve the Buffs lead.  Jesse Iweze finished the scoring for WT with a classic three-point play to make it 43-24 after 20 minutes.

After drawing the foul, Hayden Blankley made both free throws at the charity stripe to lead off the second half to open a 12-3 run.  Trevone Fuller connected on his only 3-pointer of the night in the final seconds of the game to give the Buffs their largest lead of the game at 35.
