#25 Lady Buffs Remain Unbeaten at The Box, Sweep Texas A&M-Kingsville

CANYON, Texas – The #25 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M ran their win streak to 11 matches while remaining unbeaten inside of the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" on Friday night with a straight set victory (25-12, 25-19, 25-14) over the Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas during Lone Star Conference action.
 
Camy Jones registered a team-high 14 kills on 21 swings with just three attack errors to hit .524 on the night to go along with three digs, three block assists and one assist. Porsha Porath finished the night with nine kills on 18 swings to hit .444, Sadie Snay paced the WT offense with 22 assists followed by Blair Moreland with 14.
 
Chandler Vogel, the program's new career digs leader, was honored pregame as the senior finished the night with 16 digs to move her career total to 2,459. The Hereford native keeps making her way up the NCAA Division II all-time list as she sits just 82 digs outside of the Top-25.
 
The Lady Buffs registered 49 kills on 110 swings with just 17 attack errors to hit .291 on the night to go along with 41 assists, three service aces, 13 total blocks and 50 digs for 59.0 points in the win. The WT defense held the Javelinas to a .073 attack percentage as TAMUK committed 15 errors.
 
Kingsville was led offensively by Kailey Estrada and Tammy Jo Groham with five kills each followed by Kelsi Luckenbach and Kapri Pelle with four, Sydney Whitmire dished out a team-high nine assists to go along with five digs while Nicole Murff led the way in the back row with 11 digs in the loss.
 
The Lady Buffs wrap-up the weekend on Saturday afternoon as they host the Texas A&M International Dustdevils in LSC action with first serve set for 2 p.m. in Canyon.
