STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs and Tarleton Texans stepped on the court for their 49^th and final regular season meeting on Tuesday night in Stephenville as WT handed the defending Regional Champions just their fifth home loss in the last three seasons (14-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-17) in front of over 300 fans at Wisdom Gym South.
 
Miller had a big night for the Lady Buffs as the freshman registered 19 kills on 42 swings with seven attack errors to hit .286 to go along with 14 digs for a double-double, Selena Batiste and Lindsey Smith tallied 12 kills each while Gabby Emery paced the WT offense with 39 assists with Chandler Vogel leading the way defensively with 27 digs in the win. WT finished the night with 56 kills on 162 swings with 22 attack errors to hit .210 as a team with 55 assists, six aces, 77 digs and three blocks.
 
Tatyana Tuialii-Umo led the way offensively for the Texans as the senior finished the night with 10 kills on 32 swings with six attack errors to hit .125 on the night to go along with nine digs to finish just shy of a double-double, Amari Franklin dished out a team-high 20 assists while Michaela Rodriguez led the way in the back row with 18 digs in the loss. TSU registered 41 kills on 157 swings with 22 attack errors to hit .121 as a team with 38 assists, four aces, 70 digs and seven blocks in the loss.
 
The Lady Buffs return to the friendly confines of the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" this weekend as they host UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico in Lone Star Conference divisional action starting on Friday night at 6 p.m. against the Falcons.
