#4 Lady Buffs Roll Past Texas Woman’s on Thursday Night in LSC Action, 81-61

CANYON, Texas – The #4 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M continued their winning ways on Thursday night as they shot over 50 percent from the floor in a 81-61 Lone Star Conference win over the Pioneers of Texas Woman's in front of over 600 fans at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

- West Texas A&M was led offensively by Deleyah Harris who went 8-of-14 from the floor including 2-of-4 from behind the arc with 20 points and seven rebounds followed by Lexy Hightower with 15 points.
- Whitney Apari led the way for the Pioneers as she went 4-of-6 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line with 13 points followed by Cienna Rodriguez with 11 while Apari grabbed five rebounds on the night.
 
FIRST HALF:
- The Lady Buffs 13-of-28 (46.4%) from the floor including 5-of-11 (45.5%) from deep and 6-of-10 (60%) from the free throw line with 20 rebounds (nine offensive, 11 defensive), 10 assists, 11 turnovers, no blocks and four steals in the opening half.
- TWU finished the first half going 12-of-24 (50%) from the field including 3-of-6 (50%) from behind the arc and 2-of-5 (40%) from the charity stripe with 11 rebounds (three offensive, eight defensive), 10 assists, 11 turnovers, no bocks and six steals.
 
SECOND HALF:
- WT finished the game going 29-of-56 (51.8%) from the floor including 8-of-20 (40%) from deep and 15-of-26 (57.7%) from the free throw line with 35 total rebounds (14 offensive, 21 defensive), 20 assists, 19 turnovers, two blocks and 16 steals in the win.
