The Pitch

As part of the Buffalo Sports Park, The Pitch was completed in 2010 and is the home of the West Texas A&M men’s and women’s soccer teams.

The playing surface, which is surrounded by an all-weather running track, is made completely of AstroTurf GameDay 3D synthetic turf for a perfect playing surface year-round.

The Pitch features seating for a capacity of 1,500 and has a full size press box with three separate rooms that accommodates home and visitor radio and television personal with ventilation and wireless access.

Buffalo Sports Park holds a special distinction as being the largest all-artificial surface sports complex in the United States with competition playing facilities for track & field, soccer, baseball and softball. The Pitch hosted the 2012 Lone Star Conference Women’s Soccer Championship, won by the Lady Buffs.
