Hrelec enters her second season as a graduate assistant after a successful career at WT where she was a five-time Lone Star Conference champion.

 

This past spring, she won both the 800-meter and 1,500-meter titles at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships while also finishing 8th in the 5,000-meters. During the indoor season, she won the mile in 5:15.92 and finished 2nd in the 800m, fourth in the 3,000-meters while anchoring the distance medley relay to a runner-up finish. She earned LSC All-Academic honors during the cross country season where she finished 8th at the conference meet and 24th at the regional meet to earn all-region honors for the second straight season.

 

In the spring of 2016, she was a key part of the women’s squad that won the LSC outdoor team title finishing 2nd in the 1,500m and third in both the 5,000m and 3,000-meter steeplechase. She also finished in top three in the mile, 3,000m and DMR during the indoor championships.

 

The Zagreb, Croatia native burst onto the scene in the fall of 2015 winning the individual title at the LSC Championships and earning USTFCCCA All-South Central Region honors. She would later go onto win the 800m at the LSC Indoor Championships in Alamosa, Colo.
