Tournament Schedule

The 2016 Lone Star Conference Tournament is a six team single-elimination event with the top two seeds receive a bye during the Quarterfinal round. The winner of the tournament will receive the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Softball Postseason.The NCAA Division II postseason field is set for release on Monday, May 2 via an online selection show on NCAA.com.

The West Texas A&M Media Relations Department will provide live stats and a free webstream for all games during the 2016 Lone Star Conference Championship. Each of the games will be aired live via video streaming to the Lone Star Conference Website (LoneStarConference.org) powered by Stretch Internet. The webstream is free of charge and can be viewed on mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.). The higher seed is listed first and will be considered the home team.

Schaeffer Park/Buffalo Sports Park

Schaeffer Park and the Buffalo Sports Park are located just north of the Virgil Henson Activity Center at 620 WTAMU Drive. Directions from each institution are below...

There are NO pets allowed at the Buffalo Sports Park or at Schaeffer Park and the West Texas A&M campus is a non-smoking facility.

Parking is available to the North of the complex and there is no parking allowed along WTAMU Drive. There will be golf carts available for spectators needing assistance into the facility, fans must walk around Schaeffer Park to the East and make their way down the cement walkway to the ticket booth. 

All visitors that wish to park at the Virgil Henson Activity Center are subject to parking sanctions/enforcement. For more information on parking, please visit the WTAMU Police Department/Parking website.


Tickets

Tickets for the event will go on sale Wednesday morning starting at 9:00 a.m. General Admission (All Session - $12 | Per Session - $5) tickets can be purchased online by following the link below after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Fans wishing to purchase Reserved Chairback Seats (All Session - $25 | Per Session - $10) must call the WTAMU Ticket Office at 806-651-1414 to check on availability and reserve those season.

Friday's games will be split up into Session I (Quarterfinals) and Session II (Semifinals) with the stands being cleared between the sessions, fans wanting to attend all four games will purchase a Session I ticket and then be asked to leave the park then re-enter with the Session II ticket. Fans that purchase an All-Session pass will still have to clear the stands between sessions on Friday and show their ticket to the WT Ticket Office personnel to re-enter.

Students from participating institutions will be admitted free if they show their University ID at the ticket window located at the South entrance of Schaeffer Park, general admission tickets will also be on sale the day of the contest.
