SAN ANGELO, Texas – West Texas A&M women's soccer player
Avery Putnam and
Madison Stokes earned All-Lone Star Conference honors on Thursday night as announced by the league office at the Lone Star Conference Tournament awards ceremony in San Angelo.

Putnam was one of 11 women's soccer players to earn a spot on this year's LSC All-Academic team after pacing the Lady Buffs with 15 points on a team-leading seven goals and an assist in 2024. The Austin, Texas native recorded her first collegiate hat trick on Oct. 12 in a 4-0 win over Sul Ross State. Putnam was one of 11 women's soccer players to earn a spot on this year's LSC All-Academic team.

Stokes earned a spot on the conference's Third Team after ranking second on the team in points. The Amarillo, Texas native recorded 13 points on five goals and a team-high three assists. Stokes started every game in the 2024 season, totaling 1,575 minutes to end her collegiate career.

The Lady Buffs finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 6-10-2 and 3-8-2 in Lone Star Conference play.
