Hangartner was a four-year standout for the Buffs from 1999-2002 as he finished his career with an overall record of 111-92 under head coaches Todd Howey and Mark Jones. He was a three-time Team Captain and All-Lone Star Conference First Team selection for the Buffs.
The Garland, Texas native sits atop of the WT record book in homeruns (47), RBI (175) and total bases (393). He is third in program history in slugging percentage (.675), hits (205), runs scored (152) and walks (79) while sitting fifth in games played (181).
